See below for a list of official IWAC 2023 lodging options. Please be aware that the IWAC team is not handling the payments for travel or lodging for presenters or attendees. You may book directly through the provided booking links or by calling the hotels and telling them you are part of IWAC.
IWAC 2023 will be held at the Clyde V. Madren Conference Center, located on the outskirts of Clemson’s campus. Please note that this location is not easily walkable from any of the below accommodations except the James F. Martin Inn.
A free shuttle service will be provided between each of the below lodgings and the Conference Center. If you book lodging at a hotel not listed here, you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the conference.
Please check with your hotel about early check in or late check out options. The IWAC 2023 team is not responsible for these arrangements.
James F. Martin Inn
The James F. Martin Inn is located in the Madren Conference Center where the IWAC 2023 proceedings will take place. Single and double room options are available, as well as suites.

Lakeside Lodge

The Abernathy

Travel
We are looking forward to having you all with us in South Carolina for the conference and have compiled some recommended travel options to help make your planning process easier. These companies are not affiliated with Clemson University or IWAC 2023. Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
Airports
If you are flying, these are the three primary airports around the Clemson area.
Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport
GSP is the most convenient airport to campus at less than an hour away (49.3 miles), and attendees will be able to book a shuttle, Uber, taxi or rental car to commute to and from the airport.
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
The Atlanta airport is two and a half hours from campus (129 miles), and attendees can travel to and from the airport via rental car or a shuttle through the Airport Shuttle of Clemson.
Charlotte Douglas International Airport
The Charlotte airport is two hours and 15 minutes from campus (132 miles), and rental cars or the Airport Shuttle of Clemson are available to conference attendees.
Travel to Clemson from Surrounding Airports
The Airport Shuttle of Clemson provides a shuttle between GSP, Atlanta, Charlotte and Clemson. You can reach them via email (info@airportshuttleclemson.

GSP Limo offers airport curbside pickup at CLT, ATL and GSP. They offer limos as well as other vehicles. You will need to book the service in advance of your trip and provide at least 24 hours of notice for any schedule changes.

You can also rent a car at any of the above airports and drive to Clemson. Enterprise Rent-A-Car is Clemson’s official car rental service, but there are several options available at all of the airports. You can visit your destination airport’s website for more information about which companies provide rentals.
GO, formerly known as GO Airport Shuttle, has been providing affordable and reliable airport transportation options to travelers since 2007. Customers can choose the way they want to go with shared ride and private airport transfers available. GO is available in several locations, so check their website to book your trip. Ground Travel Around Clemson
While a free shuttle will be available for attendees between the conference center and above recommended hotels, all other ground travel is the responsibility of the attendees, including to and from the airport. The below services are available for those who wish to use ride-share programs or rent a car to travel around the Clemson area.
